“Clown, is the shortest song we play, and maybe the most indicated for ‘easy-listening.’ Anyway, our style can be well-appreciated by hearing it and it has several changes, from the ‘straight-rocker’ beginning to then a softer and more emotional part, to a jazzy part to the straight-rocking bit again.

This song was recorded from a rehearsal in December 2003, and then we edited it and added a few sound fx, but it has NO OVERDUBS or anything, so it sounds like when we play live.”

Empty Spaces is a young band from Barcelona, in Spain. We play something similar to Prog-Rock and we have influences from Prog-Rock bands like Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Genesis... but we try to play this style in a very "free" form, without trying to "making it sound like the old bands". Most of our songs are quite lenghtly (some of them lasting for more that 10 minutes) and we like to make songs with several style changes, adding several influences from other music styles that we like.
